Facilities at Atlantis Dive Center...
Atlantis Dive Center is truly a full service,
complete dive facility with three locations in the
Key Largo area to
serve you. We have one of the largest compressor systems anywhere - two
large compressors capable of pumping 110 cu. ft. per minute with over
30,000 cubic feet of storage. Atlantis has one of the largest NITROX air
systems anywhere - 30 Cu ft. per minute - using the DNAx membrane
system. Our main dive center is located on the water right at our
private docks, with ample parking for all. A "scuba -
friendly" restaurant next door, The FLAMINGO, serves
excellent food in a colorful
Key
West style atmosphere.
All of Atlantis' boats are docked on the ocean-side of Key Largo,
with no long canals or bays to navigate. The "Lost
Continent", "Coral Princess I", and "Coral Princess
VI" are custom designed from stem to stern for diving and
snorkeling comfort, with walk-through transoms, water-level platforms,
and five-foot deep boarding ladders. Get to the reef fast on
board our newest boat, the Enterprise II.
History...
Captain Spencer Slate opened Atlantis Dive Center in 1978. Since then
Atlantis has grown to become one of the oldest and largest dive
operations in the Keys. Captain Slate himself has been a leader in the
sports diving industry for decades, holding office as President of the Florida
Assoc. of Dive Operators, Chairman of the Keys Assoc. of Dive
Operators, National Chairman of the YMCA Scuba Program, and
Chairman of the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce.

SEATV, Subaru Outbound Adventure, and dozens of television programs for
Captain Slates famous Creature
Feature feedings of his now-tame barracuda and moray eels.

Our three full service retail stores have everything you'll need for
your tropical diving pleasure with full equipment sales and rentals!
Bring your gear, or rent from us with one or our economical multi-day

Coral Princess VI -
Atlantis' Glassbottom Boat!
Learn the history of the park and the natural development of our coral
reef system from the comfort of our glassbottom boat, the Coral
Princess VI. Our two 3' by 9' viewing windows will give you a
spectacular view of our reefs without getting your feet wet. Bring the
family - Atlantis offers the only combination of snorkeling and
glassbottom viewing from the same boat in Key Largo.
