   Key Largo Fishing

With "Reel This" Captain Chuck Jeffries
Key Largo Fishing in the Florida Keys

Key Largo Fishing

Capt. Chuck Jeffries was born and raised in Tennessee and has fond memories of fishing for trout in the streams and rivers of his home state before moving to Virginia where he attended the Univeristy of Richmond. Capt. Chuck was a professional golfer for about seven years, then ventured into the restaurant business before moving to Florida in 1986. After moving to the Florida Keys, he earned his Captains License and worked as a Charterboat Captain for approximately five years. At the end of that time, he bought a backcountry skiff and has been Key West backcountry fishing "the flats"ever since.

Capt. Chuck loves backcountry fishing and the one-on-one relationship and team effort it takes to make it work. He also "enjoys being in a small boat, catching big fish." His most memorable moment on the water was the time they had a "Monster" 200 pound tarpon on for 4 hours. They boated the fish and his angler went home with a wonderful memory. The Reel This is available for full and 1/2 day trips.

To book a backcountry fishing charter call 800-327-7070 x641.
