Finally October is here and usually the first cold front for the season. All it really does is take the humidity out of the air but that marks the end of our long hot summer. The first two or three weeks are still quite but then it all breaks loose. It starts off with Goombay the 19-20 and then goes into Fantasy Fest. Giving us six days of madness. A trend I have noticed over the past few years is that a lot of people are staying thru Monday taking advantage of the lower hotel rates and giving themselves a day to recover from Saturday night.
