The world's coral reefs are being killed. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Thursday that new research finds carbon emissions are threatening coral reefs. The findings are timely as 2008 is the International Year of the Reef.

NAUI SPECIALTY COURSES

OVERVIEW

NAUI Specialty Diver Courses are either introductions to or are more detailed treatments of the respective areas of specialized diving. Accordingly, some specialty courses are designed to provide more detailed training and result in additional qualifications. In these instances the qualifications are described in the respective specialty course standard. They provide divers the opportunity to enjoy organized diving which yields experience and documents training in specialized diving activities.

What's included:
     All equipment, pool fees, instructor fees, and boat fees.  A NAUI temporary certification card is issued upon successful completion of the specialty course.  Each course has some kind of text which is included in the price of the course.
 
What's not included:
    Any additional dive books and support materials that the student wants.   Additional diving books are available at the shop in Key West Florida.
