The world's coral reefs are being killed. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Thursday that new research finds carbon emissions are threatening coral reefs. The findings are timely as 2008 is the International Year of the Reef.

We have moved to our new location on the water in old town Key West!

The new Key West Diving Society address is 951 Caroline Street, Key West, FL 33040.

We are located at Conch Harbor Marina in the Historic Seaport District. To find us from the entrance to Key West, just drive over the Cow Key bridge and turn right on North Roosevelt Blvd, follow Roosevelt until you reach Garrison Bight Marina and turn right on Palm Ave. which will become Eaton street. Continue 2 blocks past White street and turn right on Grinnell street. Conch Harbor is located on the corner of Caroline and Grinnell.

Key West Scuba Diving

Scuba dive in the warm waters of Key West and the Florida Keys. We offer laid back wreck, reef and night dives as well as all levels of Scuba diving instruction from beginner through assistant instructor.

Custom scuba diving trips are our specialty. Whatever you feel like diving (drift, lobstering, spearfishing or multiple wrecks), our professional friendly staff can organize it for you!!

We do dive and snorkel trips twice daily to some of Key West
most spectacular sites such as  "Joe's Tug", "Cayman Salvage Master"
 (both wreck dives), "The Lost Reef " and "Widow's Finger"
(reef dives) to name a few.

We, at Key West Diving Society, pride ourselves on the depth and range of our training program and our instructors. We offer all levels of instruction from beginner Open Water Certification through Divemaster including Referral Certification Dives. Our instructors are qualified to certify you in all the major training agencies such as PADI, NAUI, IANTD and BSAC and will do everything possible to make your training sessions educational, safe, and fun.

Instruction / Classes

RESORT DIVE: 1 day includes reef dive, class, confined water, equipment and instructor.

OPEN WATER CLASS: 3 days includes 4 reef dives, all equipment, books, confined water training, instruction, and certification.

REFERRAL: 2 days includes 4 reef dives, equipment, boat trips and certification.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER: 2 days includes 5 dives, books, equipment, and certification.

MEDIC FIRST AID/CPR: 6-8 hour lecture includes books, class and certification.

RESCUE DIVER: 2-3 days includes dives, books, class/pool, and certification.

DIVEMASTER: 7 days minimum includes multiple dives, class/pool. books, and certification.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX DIVER: 1.5 days includes 2 dives, class, books, certification, and 2 EANx tank fills.
