How the rest of
the world sees
Key West
Take it easy in Hemingway's Key West
Earthtimes, UK - Jan 7
Is it 4 pm or maybe already 5? Nobody cares much as details like that are
unimportant on the island of Key West on the southernmost tip of America.

Florida Keys
MiamiHerald.com, FL - Dec 21, 2007
Jason Schwenke is donning the Santa suit while going underwater in the Florida
Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Worlds Best
Heading to
Key West
USMCA, GA -
Dec 5, 2007
With weeks to go before the final entry deadline, the entry list for Acura Key
West 2008, presented by Nautica is already long on talent and strong on
international and national representation. And the traditional last minute crush
of entries is yet to descend. It will only get better.

With
a name derived from the ancient trees we sell in our gift shop, Bonsai
Diving is a truly unique shop on upper Duval Street in the heart of
Old Town
Key West. As part of the upscale Duval Square
Shopping Plaza
with many fine restaurants, it is conveniently located within walking
distance from most hotels. |
Like it's namesake, the Bonsai Tree, the dive operation is truly special.
We Depart at 8am daily on our brand new roomy,
comfortable, extended range Sea Cat Dive Boat carrying a maximum of 6 divers.
With typically 15 minutes on route we reach the best dive sites long before
our competitors. We now do the Marquesas and Dry Tortugas on request. This is
ideal for photo buffs who will appreciate the enhanced photo opportunities.
Guided tours of the wrecks and reefs are provided by competent instructors at
no charge.
After the first dive, your crew changes your tanks while you relax and
enjoy the complimentary beverages. After arriving at the second dive site,
there is no rush to get back in the water for your second dive on the reef
with unlimited bottom time.
When everyone is back on board is ready to return, a short trip back to the
dock ends the adventure. Dolphin encounters are frequent and the boat stops
when we see them enroute. Our specialties are Underwater Photography, which
includes a Professional Photo Service as well as Nikonos RS, Nikonos 5, and Hi
8 underwater camera/video rental. We offer Basic and advanced U/W Photography
courses in small classes or privately using the latest equipment &
techniques. We also offer PADI certification to the instructor level at a
considerable savings.
