The world's coral reefs are being killed. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Thursday that new research finds carbon emissions are threatening coral reefs. The findings are timely as 2008 is the International Year of the Reef.

Boarding at the beautiful Westin  Marina, passengers are greeted by our uniformed crew. As the magnificent Schooner Liberty leaves the dock for a delightful cruise through the Key West harbor and out into the open water, blazing white canvas billows overhead, and passengers enjoy the gentle breeze and the unique sensation of being transported back in time to Key West’s rich maritime past. They are encouraged to take the wheel, or simply kick back and relax for a couple of hours, while the crew hoist the rigging, point the bow to the horizon and cater to their every need.

As Key West slides astern and the bow is pointed to the sunset, passengers enjoy the romantic atmosphere and the unforgettable experience of authentic Tall Ship sailing. Cruising past Mallory Square we take in the sights and sounds of the Sunset Celebration, before heading into the open water and watching a world-famous Key West Sunset, while enjoying complimentary beer, wine, champagne & soda, served throughout the trip by our ever- attentive crew.

DINNER SUNSET SAIL - Caribbean BBQ
125' Schooner LIBERTY CLIPPER

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

5:00pm - 7:30pm

As the authentically designed 125” Liberty Clipper slides away from the dock, passengers may dance to the sounds of the live Island music, or work up an appetite helping the fully uniformed crew set the sails, as the enticing aroma of dinner being freshly prepared on the grill wafts across the deck. Guests may feast on Caribbean favorites including jerk chicken, vegetable kebobs, conch salad, baby greens with tropical vinaigrette, annatto rice with black beans, fried plantains, roasted potatoes, and classic Cuban desserts! As the sun edges below the sails and dips into the water, passengers know they will have this once-in-a-lifetime experience etched in their memories for years to come.
