Climate change could cost Florida an additional $27 billion by 2025 and $345 billion by 2100 if carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions continue to increase at current rates, according to a Tufts University report.

City Marina’s 250 slips straddle the Palm Avenue causeway in Garrison Bight, on the north side of the island of Key West. The marina has been the home of Key West’s historic Charter Boat Row since the 1930s. A community of live aboard homes is also in the marina, comprising a pleasant, eclectic neighborhood on the water. 
 

City Marina has 30 transient slips. Theses slips are located on concrete floating docks. Amenities include bath and shower facilities as well as an on-site coin laundry.

Directions to Marina by road

City Marina is located in Garrison Bight near the center of the island, on its north side. Although the marina not located at the southern end of US 1, it is not far away. The marina is on the corner of South Roosevelt Boulevard and Palm Avenue. When approaching Key West on US 1, stay to the right; turn on to South Roosevelt Boulevard. This rout will take you along the very edge of the island and offers wonderful vistas of the Back Country with its extensive flats and mangrove islands. Palm Avenue third light on South Roosevelt Boulevard. The City Marina Sign is on the right at this intersection. Drive through the intersection and enter the marina parking lot just past the sign.

Directions by water - Gulf of Mexico

Enter Key West waters at Buoy #1 North West Passage. At Buoy #19 North West Passage, turn eastward to the Key West Main Ship Channel, then north to Main Ship Channel #31. Enter Fleming Key Cut eastward to Garrison Bight Channel # 21, then southward to enter Garrison Bight.

Note: Fleming Key Bridge (over Fleming Key Cut) has a vertical clearance of 18 feet, Garrison Bight Channel has a controlling depth of 4.5 feet at Trumbo Point, and power lines restrict mast height with a 50-foot clearance at the entrance to Garrison Bight (NOAA Chart 11447). Vessels unable to pass under the Fleming Key Bridge may proceed northward from Main Ship Channel Buoy # 31 to Garrison Bight Channel Buoy # 3 and sail around the northern end of Fleming Key then into Garrison Bight as above.

Directions by water - Atlantic

Proceed westward down Hawk Channel to Key West Main Ship Channel Buoy #12 then northward to Main Ship Channel #31. Enter Fleming Key Cut eastward to Garrison Bight Channel # 21, then southward to enter Garrison Bight.
