Key West Scuba Diving

About 1 1/2 miles east of Sand Key Light you find Rock Key and the Eastern Dry Rocks. Both have a rubble zone and topped with Hard Corals. Canyons cut though the formations with sandy bottoms waiting to be  explored. Its major attractions other than the lush growth are the wrecks there. Rock Key has a large area of pebble ballast, tiles from Europe, spikes, and cannon balls. On the western end of Eastern Dry Rocks you find another pile of ballast stones spread out over 100 yards. Most of the dive boats stop at these reefs.
