Key West Bed and Breakfasts
As described below, each of our 9 units is unique. All units feature air conditioning, Bahamian fans, phone, cable TV and private bath. Rooms, except for rooms with one double bed, also have refrigerators.
Our cottage, which is pictured by the pool, contains a suite plus a separate room, with direct outside access. We have recently learned that the cottage was moved to our property from a site on Duval Street and that it is considerably older than the main house. Given the 1884 vintage of the main house, the cottage stands as one of the oldest structures on the island.
PLEASE NOTE: Effective date of winter rates is variable.
#1 - Flamingo Room has one queen size bed. The furniture is white wicker. Half of a flock of flamingos have taken up residence to keep you company. Mona Flamingo is the head bird. The bathroom has both a shower and a tub.

#2 - Cottage Suite The cottage Suite consists of the Key West room and the Marilyn Monroe room. These rooms are connected via a sitting porch.

Key West Room has a king-size bed and a garden view. The bath has a shower and a tub. The mood is tropical and the accessories reflect Key West attractions. This room shares a sitting porch with the Marilyn Monroe Room.

Marilyn Monroe Room is done in lavender (What is she doing in Key West?). It has a double bed and a view of the pool area. The bath has both a shower and a tub.

The Amethyst Room, Florida Room, Egyptian Room & Caribbean Room have access off a common hallway on the second floor of the main house. The hallway is open on either end and extends from a front veranda to the rear veranda. The hallway can be reached from outside stairs at either the side of the house or at the rear. All rooms have private access.
#3 - Amethyst Room is a charming room with a queen-size bed tucked away on the side of the house. It is often used by honeymooners and for that special getaway, perhaps an anniversary. There is a shower in the bathroom.

#4 - Florida Room is a light and airy room with plenty of sunshine. This room features a queen-size bed. The furniture is wicker which adds to the light feeling. The view is of palm trees and there is a feeling of being outdoors. The bath for this room is detached but remains private.

#5 - Egyptian Room, so named because of the theme, is our largest room. It is located at the front of the house and has windows on 3 sides. The walls and ceiling are of Dade County pine. It has two double beds. The bath for this room is detached but private. This is one of our most popular rooms.

#6 - Caribbean Room is our least expensive room. It has one double bed. The view is of the front gardens. The room, while small, is charming. There is a shower in the bathroom.

#7 - Sunflower Room is on the left side of the second floor of the main house. It has one double bed. It is very bright and cheery. You may even find a blue parrot or 2 in this room. The bath in this room is spacious and has a shower.

#8 - Irish Suite This suite, which is located on the first floor, includes a living room with a very comfortable queen size sofa bed. The Irish Suite can be rented as a either a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom unit. The Blarney living room cannot be rented separately but only in conjunction with the Killarney Room and /or the Thatched Room.

Blarney Room - The Blarney Room can be used as a living room
or a bedroom with either or both the Killarney and /or the Thatched

Thatched Room - This room has 1 double bed and is located on the first floor at
the rear of the main house. It is directly off a sundeck next to the pool. The
bathroom has a shower.

Killarney Room This room has 1 king size bed and a small sitting area. The accessories are directly from the Old Sod. The room happily accommodates persons of other lineages and is located on the first floor of the main house next to room #9. The bathroom has both a shower and a tub.

#9 - Maloney Room This room is named in honor of Walter Maloney, builder of the house. It is located on the first floor of the house and has windows on three sides and a garden view. It has 2 double beds and is handicapped accessible. It is done in pastels of pink and blue. The large shower can accommodate a wheel chair.

A reservation deposit is required. All major credit cards are
accepted. Deposits are refundable, less 25% or $25 whichever is greater, up to
14 days prior to arrival date. There is a $25 fee for shortening your stay prior
to arrival. Cancellations occurring within 14 days of arrival date will result
in forfeiture of deposit. Rates may be higher and minimum stays required during
holiday periods and special events. Rates may change without notice and do not
include tax.
