The "Outer Limits" is the jewel of the Key West Charter fleet. Custom designed and built new in 2000 by owner Captain Bennett Taylor. Our goal is to provide our guests with a great day of Key West fishing and plenty of happy faces.

Captain Taylor and his professional crew cater to everyone from the novice angler to world record seeking pros. Our years of experience and expertise as fish hunters insures that you will have the best fishing trip the island has to offer.
 

The air conditioned 42' Custom Sportfisher with top speeds of over 40mph gets you to the pristine fishing grounds in complete comfort and style. For your convenience we are centrally docked in downtown Key West at the A&B Marina, within easy walking distance to all downtown hotels and guesthouses.

About the Captain

Captain Bennett Taylor owns and operates the Outer Limits. Captain Taylor earned his 100 ton Coast Guard issued Masters Captain's License in 1987. He grew up fishing the coastal waters of his native state of Delaware and spent his formative years charter fishing the Northeast Canyons for Tuna, Marlin, Dolphin and Sharks.

While earning his degree from the University of Delaware, Captain Taylor commercially fished Salmon in Alaska's Cooke Inlet. Prior to settling with his family in Key West he traveled and fished the fertile billfishing grounds of Costa Rica, Mexico, and Hawaii as well as top east coast destinations in the Carolinas. Captain Taylor has won and placed in numerous major tournaments over the years including the White Marlin Open, Ocean City Shark Tournament, Ocean City Tuna Tournament, Key West Texaco Classic, as well as crewed for two years straight on the I.R.B.A. Charterboat of the year.

About the boat

Constructed in 2000, the OUTER LIMITS is a brand new 42ft. Custom Sportfishing vessel.

BIG, FAST N' FIRST CLASS

BIG

128 Sq. FT. Cockpit featuring 130lb Pompanette Marlin Chair, Rocket Launchers, 16 Rod Holders, and 50 Gallon Live Well. Inside the air conditioned cabin there are wrap around couches and plenty of room to move around.

FAST

Blister 40mph top speed delivered by twin 430C Cummins Turbo Diesels and 860 horsepower. We provide more time on the fishing ground and access to remote pristine locations.

FIRST CLASS

Bose Surround Sound Stereo, VCR, DVD/CD Player, 20" Color TV, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. The cabin is air conditioned for your comfort. There is a head (bathroom) on board with toilet and washbasin.

Commercial state of the art electronics and custom fishing tackle provide a first class fishing adventure.

Rates & Reservations

The Outer Limits can accommodate up to six anglers. We provide trips for private parties only - so you will catch all the fish and will not have to fish with strangers.

All trips include licenses, bait, ice, tackle and a professional mate.

We offer full 8 hour trips, 3/4 - 6 hour trips and 4 hour trips as well as overnight trips and tournament packages.

You need to bring only what you would care to eat and drink, sunscreen, sunglasses, soft soled shoes and a hat.

Key West Rates

Half Day - 500.00

Full Day - 750.00

*we will price your trip accordingly for other time periods.

A deposit of $250.00 is required at least 10 days in advance for advanced reservations. For shorter periods of time your deposit can be taken prior to trip. We accept MasterCard and Visa.

If you must cancel your reservation we will try to make arrangements for another date. If this is not possible, you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Cancellations less than 48 hours are non refundable. If we cancel a trip for any reason, a 100% refund will be made if another date cannot be arranged.
We are available for charters up to 6 people.
