   Islamorada Fishing

With "Reel Easy" Captain Jason Richards
Islamorada Fishing in the Florida Keys

Islamorada Fishing

Captain Jason Richards was born in Homestead, Florida where he lived until the age of 7 when his family moved to Georgia. However, he visited the Keys every summer and all holidays until he graduated from high school. After graduating, he moved to the Keys and, now, lives here on a full time basis.

Capt. Richards has been fishing in the Key West and the Florida Keys most of his life, and fell in love with backcountry fishing about 10 years ago. He decided that some day he would have his own boat and fish the backountry for a living. He bought his boat 2 years ago and began fishing professionally at the beginning of 2000. He has lots of fish tales to tell, but especially remembers the day he had a permit and a tarpon hooked up at the same time which made for a very exciting day. Jason will take you fishing for bonefish, tarpon, redfish, trout, it doesn't matter, he loves to do it all.

The Reel Easy is available for full day, 1/2 day and evening tarpon trips.

To book a backcountry fishing charter call 800-327-7070 x641 .
