Key Largo Fishing the Keys

I have been fishing the flats of the Keys for over ten years. I hold a
one hundred ton U.S. Coast Guard Captains license, and am otherwise
licensed and insured.
My skiff is a Mirage HP built for me by the Maverick Boat Company, and
is specially designed for fly fishing. It is quiet, light, and
comfortable.

| My anglers are always welcome to bring their own tackle,
but I do provide the gear for our trip, if preferred. You can use top
quality spinning, and/or fly gear from manufacturers such as Shimano,
St. Croix, Sage, G-Loomis, Tibor, Bauer and Scientific Anglers. I tie
all my own flies, or I can give you recommendations if you wish to bring
your own. |
Eco Tours
| Does your "fishing partner" (or as
you land-lovers say "significant other") not like to fish? We
can make the trip both interesting and memorable even for someone who
would prefer not to touch a rod or reel. Experiencing the wilderness of
Florida Bay can in itself be an exciting and fulfilling day on the
water. Bald eagles, ospreys, flamingos, roseatte spoonbills, white
pelicans, manatees, porpoises, saltwater crocodiles and countless other
species all inhabit the bay, and all are often seen during fishing trips
into the Everglades. |

| I have a degree in Environmental Studies, and can incorporate
ecological information into the fishing trip, a separate trip, or
portion of a trip if desired. So, even a non-angler in your party will
have something to do, see and experience. (Bring lots of film!) |
