The story on backcountry fishing is lots of action and many different species ranging in size from 2 pounds to 202 pounds! Backcountry fishing by nature, is less technical than flats fishing, and allows the angler to fish in the beautiful, calm waters surrounding the flats and mangrove channels of our national marine sanctuary. These trips routinely produce outstanding catches of Tarpon, Permit, Snapper, Shark, and Barracuda, to name a few. We have had such an overwhelming response to these trips that we have added additional backcountry boats to our fleet!

Your Key West trip starts in a new 21' Sea-Pro which was specially built for our shallow backcountry. These boats are powered by 150 hp Mercury outboards.
