What Regulations should I Know ?

Just a few note on Mosquitoes ?

Mosquitoes in the everglades are at their worst in the hot humid summer months.
Needless is say they are present year round, but your trip should not be affected
to much by them if you follow some simple tips.

bulletAvoid grassy areas where mosquitoes hide.
bulletWhere you can stay on the boardwalks and pavement.
bulletStay in the open, and breezy areas out of the shade.
bulletIf you are going to be spending any amount of time in the
backcountry you will need protective clothing. Long sleeved
shirt, and a good mosquito net jacket get one that keep the
netting away from your skin.
bulletFrom my point of view I personally believe in chemical warfare when
it comes to these guys. Be careful when using repellents on kids.
bulletI try to make it a point to do all my activities in the park during the
day and be out of their when the sun goes down when ever possible.

If you are driving to Key West either from home or after
flying into Miami this is a must side trip.
